Those are some great piles! I love working with leather too, and my piles are slowely accumulating now that we are settling down after being out of the country for a while.
I think leather is a lot like fabric or paper...there is always more out there that just has to make it back to our homes and work tables - or in piles.
But I think having well stocked piles helps with the creativity aspect of things. I could never use up all that I have without feeling methodical. I like to see which colour suits my mood or creativity at that point. I get inspired by variety, so yes, I often feel the desire for more.
