Waterrose Handcrafted Obsessions is Rose from Arizona. She was encouraged to be creative by her family - her mother taught her embroidery, and her grandmother taught her quilting. She loves working with textiles, and I think you can see that in the items she creates.
Now, I'm not really one to wear a whole lot of jewelry, but I think these embroidered cuffs are absolutely gorgeous! I like each of the ones I put into this post.
Since I cross stitch, I can totally appreciate the work that goes into each of these pieces. When I was a girl and saw embroidery, I used to think, "I want to try that!" But with these pieces, I don't really want to, only because I would be afraid that I would muck it up! I truly admire the artistry and talent that goes into each of Rose's items.
You can also find Waterrose Handcrafted Obsessions on her blog.

Happy Birthday, Jeffery!
Today is the birthday of my fabulous husband, Jeffery. He turns 30!
Jeffery is such a gift from God - I am very sure that there is no other man who would be able to stand living with me, and still love me, despite all my many, many faults.
Jeffery is the most kind, thoughtful, considerate, and honest man I have ever known, and it is a blessing for me to be a part of his life.
It is my prayer that Jeff will continue to seek the will of God for his life, and that he will always count the many blessings that God has given us - namely Alexander and Isabel.
Jeffery is such a wonderful husband to me and father to our children - I am glad that we are living out our lives together.
I love you, Jeff. I hope you have a wonderful day today. :)

Friday Confessional
This post is linked to Mamarazzi, who is holding a Friday Confessional.

I confess . . .
that I just had a Rolo Blizzard from the Dairy Queen down the road. That little shop is dangerous. I want to go way too often.
I confess . . .
that I sort of feel sick after eating that Rolo Blizzard from the dangerous DQ shop. I should stop getting smalls and go for the minis. But they are so good!
I confess . . .
it is sort of nice to be at home with just me and Isabel. Jeffery dropped Alexander off at my parents' place for a sleepover, and Jeff went to IGNITE, the youth group where he is a leader. It's the last night of the school year.
I confess . . .
that I should really make those banana muffins. The bananas are almost too ripe. But I'm lazy. I don't want to.
I confess . . .
some days I just want to quit. Everything. Quit being a mom, a wife, and just do nothing. Do nothing on a beach, to be exact. A beach sort of like this:
Maybe that just means I need a vacation. I've never been on a vacation to a place like this, so I can't be completely certain.
I confess . . .
I love to blog! I started this blog with three scheduled days with three scheduled types of posts. Now I blog every week day, Monday to Friday. And this is my second Friday post. I enjoy it way too much.
I confess . . .
if you asked me to stop, I would say no!
